The great thing about flying to New Zealand is that you can approach it from a westerly or an easterly direction presenting a lot of choice when it comes to routes and stopover options. Appreciating that it can be hard to make a decision one way or the other, here's an argument for the westward route via LA.
Fly with Air New Zealand to and from Auckland via Los Angeles and not only do you get to travel with an award-winning airline that offers the biggest economy seat pitch in its class, but you also have the added fun bonus of arriving at your destination before you left.
Leave Auckland in the evening and arrive in Los Angeles mid afternoon.
It's daft I know, but I think it is something you should experience at least once in your life. Jut think what you can do with the extra time. I found shopping on Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica quite an engaging pastime.
And if you book your holiday with us before 31st May 2007 you could save up to 25% on Air New Zealand flights.
